2010 "Friends and Family In Focus" Photo Contest!

This year our "Friends and Family In Focus" photo contest is asking for your favorite pictures and fondest memories from your vacation with family and friends in the Hershey Harrisburg region. Building off of the success of last season's photo contest, we are adding the option for contestants to submit the story behind the photo!  Tell us what happened before, during or after the shot was taken, and your submissions could land your smiling faces and entertaining stories in our 2011 Hershey Harrisburg Regional Visitors Guide and on our web site.

Contest winners will be selected at the end of the fall 2010 season to allow both summer sun-hounds and autumn leaf-peepers the opportunity to snap it, send it to PHOTOS@HERSHEYHARRISBURG.ORG and see it published in our annual visitors guide, which is distributed nationwide.

Photo Contest Details

The great photo search is on for publicly submitted photos of the Hershey Harrisburg Region (Dauphin and Perry counties) that feature people in action!  Send us your creative and fun images of great family vacations, couples enjoying the Susquehanna Riverfront, pets and children enjoying the exciting outdoors here and more!

• Photographs published in our 2011 Visitors Guide will be accompanied by a photo credit.

• Selected images will appear in the online version of our Guide viewable on the homepage of HersheyHarrisburg.org.

The Visitors Guide is a high-quality glossy booklet, printed in full color and is the official travel guide and reference tool for guests planning a vacation or getaway to the Hershey Harrisburg region. It contains information on all the attractions, accommodations and tourism related businesses in the region.

GRAND PRIZE: Many photos will be selected for use in the 2011 Visitors Guide, out of which, one photo will be chosen to be prominently displayed in a featured section or on the front cover. The Grand Prize Photo Winner will receive a fantastic Prize Package.
